Description | Detection Principle: This kit uses double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay technology. The specific anti human IL-7 antibody was pre coated on a high affinity microplate. Add the standard, sample to be tested and biotinylated detection antibody into the wells of enzyme plate. After incubation, IL-7 in the sample combines with solid-phase antibody and detection antibody. After washing to remove unbound material, horseradish peroxidase labeled streptavidin HRP was added. After washing, the chromogenic substrate TMB was added to avoid light for color development. The depth of the color response is directly proportional to the concentration of IL-7 in the sample. Stop solution was added to stop the reaction, and the absorbance value was measured at 450 nm wavelength (reference wavelength 570-630 nm)

Background: Interleukin 7 (IL-7)It is a hematopoietic growth factor secreted by bone marrow and thymic stromal cells. It can also be produced by keratinocytes, dendritic cells, hepatocytes, neurons and epithelial cells, but normal lymphocytes cannot produce IL-7. IL-7 stimulates the differentiation of multipotent hematopoietic stem cells into lymphoid progenitor cells, and it can also stimulate the proliferation of all lymphoid cells (B cells, T cells, and NK cells) IL-7 promotes the development of hematologic malignancies (acute lymphoblastic leukemia, T-cell lymphoma). Elevated IL-7 levels have been detected in the plasma of HIV infected patients. IL-7 can also improve the immune rehabilitation after allogeneic stem cell transplantation&Nbsp |
