The Duoning Type I Aseptic Tubing Welder is a fully automatic device used for aseptic welding of thermoplastic tubing and PVC tubing. This fully automatic device can aseptically connect thermoplastic tubing with an outer diameter from 1/4 to 3/4 inch and PVC tubing of sizes 3.0–5.0.

Application

The Duoning Type I Aseptic Tubing Welder is used to connect TPE thermoplastic tubing and PVC tubing on single-use bags used in biopharmaceutical processes, such as C-flex and Advanta flex. It can connect individual bags or bag assemblies in non-sterile environments while maintaining product sterility.

Working Principle

Load the tube clamp, blade, and tubing into the Duoning Type I Aseptic Tubing Welder. The welding process is fully automated. The blade is heated to remove pyrogens (≥400°C) and then cooled to the welding temperature. Throughout the welding process, the blade temperature is monitored by an infrared temperature sensor. When the blade reaches the welding temperature, it cuts the thermoplastic tubing, and the tubing is connected to form the desired fluid pathway.
