Myeloperoxidase (MPO) is a heme protein synthesized during myeloid differentiation that constitutes the major component of neutrophil azurophilic granules. Produced as a single chain precursor, myeloperoxidase is subsequently cleaved into a light and heavy chain. The mature myeloperoxidase is a tetramer composed of 2 light chains and 2 heavy chains. Myeloperoxidase produces hypohalous acids central to the microbicidal activity of neutrophils.
The Abbkine Cleaved-MPO 89k (A49) Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen anddetects endogenous levels of fragment of activated MPO 89k protein resulting from cleavage adjacent to A49. The antibody has been validaed in WB, ELISA and reacts with Human samples.
Abbkine supplies below price/size: $100/30μl, $220/100μl, $360/200μl of Rabbit Anti-Cleaved-MPO 89k (A49) Polyclonal Antibody at https://www.abbkine.com/product/cleaved-mpo-89k-a49-polyclonal-antibody-abp50071.
