Application:
The MQ-510 underwater quantum meter is specifically designed for underwater photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) measurement. It is suitable for measuring most light sources, including LED lights. The immersion effect correction factor has already been applied to the meter readings through firmware. The quantum sensor can operate normally underwater, and measurement data is displayed via a handheld meter. The quantum sensor is connected to the handheld meter through a waterproof cable. The MQ-510 underwater quantum meter includes a handheld meter and a dedicated quantum sensor, which is sealed in a vacuum dome and connected to a specially designed aluminum housing via a waterproof cable. The MQ series meters support both manual and automatic data logging modes, facilitating convenient on-site measurement and daily data analysis. An AL-100 stainless steel leveling plate can be optionally equipped for the MQ-210X to ensure the sensor remains level when mounted on a crossarm.
Note: The handheld meter is not waterproof; only the sensor and cable are waterproof.
The MQ-510 features data logging capability, capable of recording 99 manual measurement data points. In automatic mode, the meter measures every 30 seconds and stores an average value every 30 minutes. It also calculates daily averages, with a maximum storage capacity of 99 daily average values. When data storage is full, old measurement values will be overwritten by new ones. The built-in display allows you to obtain measurement data in real time. Data stored in the meter can be easily transferred to a computer via the AC-100 communication cable.
