A Nutsche Filter Reactor is a laboratory and pilot-plant apparatus designed to combine the functions of reaction and filtration in a single unit.
Basic Technical Specifications:
1. Vessel Volume: 5L, 10L, 20L, 30L, 50L, 80L, 100L, 150L, 100L
2. Vessel: Single wall, double wall or triple wall available
3. Working pressure: Full vacuum to 0.05Mpa
4. Working temperature: -80°C ~ +220°C
5. Wetted parts: Borosilicate glass 3.3, PTFE
This integration processes by allowing chemical reactions and subsequent separation of solids and liquids to occur within the same vessel.
Glass Filter reactors are widely used in chemical synthesis, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and environmental testing due to its efficiency and flexibility.
Working Principle of A Filter Reactor
1.Loading the Reactants: Add the reactants into the reaction vessel. If necessary, pre-mix them using the agitation mechanism.
2. Conducting the Reaction: Apply circulating heating or cooling heat transfer medium to maintain the required reaction temperature. The agitator ensures thorough mixing and uniform reaction throughout the vessel.
3. Filtration: Once the reaction is complete, the mixture is filtered through the filter media supported by the filter plate. The liquid passes through the pores of the filter media, leaving the solid particles behind.
4. Collecting the Filtrate: The filtered liquid, or filtrate, is collected through the outlet port. A vacuum may be applied to speed up the filtration and efficiency.
5. Removing the Solid Residue: After filtration, the solid residue (filter cake) is removed from the filter media for further processing or disposal.
