The highly conserved RNA polymerase II transcription factor TFIID (see TAF1; MIM 313650) comprises the TATA box-binding protein (TBP; MIM 600075) and a set of TBP-associated factors (TAFs), including TAF3（TATA-box binding protein associated factor 3). TAFs contribute to promoter recognition and selectivity and act as antiapoptotic factors.

TAF II p140 Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of TAF II p140 protein.

Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: WB: 1:500-1:2000, ELISA: 1:10000. Not yet tested in other applications.
