The protein encoded by SLC30A2（solute carrier family 30 member 2) is a zinc transporter that acts as a homodimer. The encoded protein plays a role in secreting zinc into breast milk. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for SLC30A2.

ZnT-2 Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of ZnT-2 protein.

Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: IHC-p: 1:100-1:300, ELISA: 1:5000. Not yet tested in other applications.
