Taste receptor type 2 member 39 encoded by TAS2R39 is a bitter taste receptor that detects green tea catechins, soy isoflavones, and theaflavins. The taste receptor type 2 member 39 is gustducin-linked and may activate alpha gustducin. TAS2R39 is intronless.

Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: WB: 1:500-1:2000, IF: 1:200-1:1000, ELISA: 1:20000. Not yet tested in other applications.
