Universal Electroporation Solution (UES) can efficiently transfect mammalian cells including adherent cells, non-adherent cells, proliferative cells and non-proliferative cells. Compared to other electroporation buffers (e.g., PBS, HBS and HeBS),UES shows the best results in both transfection efficiency and cell viability in non-adherent cells and non-proliferative cells, which are usually difficult to be transfected in other electrophoration buffers or by most other widely used transfection reagents (e.g., Lipofectamine, Fugene, and Effectene).
