    The PiCUS 3 Sonic Tomograph is a professional-grade diagnostic instrument designed for detecting internal wood decay in trees caused by insect infestation or natural decline. The system primarily measures the lower trunk section. Sensors are mounted around the predetermined cross-section, and each measurement point is tapped using a specialized electronic hammer. Sound waves propagate through the trunk interior—variations in internal density cause different propagation speeds, enabling precise assessment of internal tree health conditions.
