| Cell Line Description |
In 1893, Dan L. Longo and Walter J. Urba established the RL cell line from the ascites of a 52-year-old Caucasian male diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) affecting B cells. Since then, RL cells have been used as a model for studying B-cell NHL. The RL cell line can be used to create the CDX (cell line derived xenograft) RL xenograft mouse model. The RL xenograft model has been used as a model for studying non-Hodgkin lymphoma treatments (immunotherapy using antibody conjugates, etc.). |
