CACNA1S (Calcium Voltage-Gated Channel Subunit Alpha1 S) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with CACNA1S include Hypokalemic Periodic Paralysis, Type 1 and Malignant Hyperthermia Susceptibility 5. Among its related pathways are Arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC) and GABAergic synapse. CACNA1S encodes one of the five subunits of the slowly inactivating L-type voltage-dependent calcium channel in skeletal muscle cells. Mutations in CACNA1S have been associated with hypokalemic periodic paralysis, thyrotoxic periodic paralysis and malignant hyperthermia susceptibility.
Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: WB 1:500-2000 ELISA 1:5000-20000.
