Leading Pharma Engineering Company PM Group Announce Major Expansion Project in China

SHANGHAI, China, 27 May 2013 - PM Group is pleased to announce it was recently awarded a design contract in China for the Shanghai Division of US multinational McCormick & Company, Inc. McCormick is a global leader in flavor manufacturing, marketing and distributing spices, herbs, seasonings, specialty foods and flavorings to the entire food industry. The Greenfield plant in Shanghai, extending to 25,000 square metres, will accommodate the rising demand in the local market.

 

The announcement was made during a visit to Shanghai by CEO, Dave Murphy to celebrate the opening of the new, larger regional office and to celebrate PM Group’s 40th year in business. Speaking during the event, Dave said: “PM Group’s business in Asia is going from strength to strength. We now employ over 200 staff between our Singapore, Shanghai and Bangalore offices. Our new Shanghai office serves as the ideal base to deliver process expertise on projects all over China. In a year when we celebrate our 40th year in business, from humble beginnings, we can be really proud of the work we are doing across the world today.”

The Singapore office is currently engaged in projects for Abbott, Merck, Roche, Novartis and Wrigley and has recently expanded into Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam.
