Sigma to Develop, Market Rubicons RNA-Amplification Tool

Sigma-Aldrich will develop and market Rubicon Genomics’ RNA-amplification product, Sigma said today.

 

Rubicon’s Transplex whole transcriptome-amplification tool works from plant, animal, and microorganisms and allows samples to be amplified from between 1,000 and 10,000 fold in a few hours.

 

Sigma said that under the agreement Rubicon will retain all rights to the Transplex for use in its molecular diagnostics ventures.
