In the 3D Biomatrix portion of the webinar, Meghan Cuddihy, Ph.D., will discuss the use of matrix-free spheroid cultures for cancer research and drug discovery. Dr. Cuddihy will talk about 3D Biomatrix’s Perfecta3D
TM Hanging Drop Plates, which are versatile, matrix-free 3D well plates designed to simplify and streamline spheroid formation, culture, and subsequent testing of 3D cell cultures. The Perfecta3D Hanging Drop Plates are compatible with a variety of different cell types. The different applications that will be discussed include co-culture data and preliminary data
on
anti-cancer drug testing.
Also participating in the webinar is Dr. Erik Miljan, Founding Director of Simply Cells, Ltd. Dr. Miljan will be highlighting the impact on the physiological relevance of in vitro cell based models using matrix proteins and scaffolds.
