Genedata, an informatics company based in Basel, Switzerland, said today that Wyeth Pharmaceuticals has licensed its software to support its drug discovery efforts.

Genedata said it has integrated its Expressionist and Phylosopher software platforms with Wyeth’s informatics infrastructure to create new analysis portals, allowing researchers to “navigate large result repositories” and to “drill down” for information on data quality and experimental design.

Genedata said its solution offers a platform capable of analyzing “tens of thousands of microarrays per month.”

The company added that Wyeth’s “scientific business rules” have been integrated with Genedata’s analysis workflows.
