The National Human Genome Research Institute has approved $400,000 in funding for BioForce Nanosciences to help the company in the second commercial development phase of its surface patterning tools, BioForce said today.
SPT molecular ink cartridges are used in the company's core Nano eNabler benchtop molecular printing system.
"The next phase of our SPT cartridge development program focuses on the improvement and expansion of the capabilities and throughput of the devices," Curtis Mosher, vice president of R&D at BioForce, said in a statement. "SPT cartridge loading and cleaning in place are primary objectives of the ongoing program."
