    Introduction

    The Stereotaxic Impactor is used to generate the animal cerebral injury model. It is based on the Principle of Free Fall, and composed by striker, weights, mental tube and Stereotaxic Instrument.

    Technical Specifications:

     Applicable to mice, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, cats, dogs and other species.

     Axes of X, Y, Z can be adjusted manually

     Diameter of striker: 4.5mm(OD) x 5mm(H) and 4.5mm(OD)x8mm(H)

     Length of striker: 30mm

     Weight : 15g, 20g, 40g, 60g and 80g available

     Length of mental tube: 30cm

     Accuracy of height adjustment: 1cm

     Distance between rods 15.2mm in X axes, 4.5mm in Y axes.
