Asbestos Inspection Cabinet for operator protection from fibres and particles. Cabinet has teardrop shaped front access with double hinged flap for easy access to cabinet interior. The front access flap will have a cut-out to accept a microscope eye piece. This will be marked and cut to suit individual requirements prior to delivery.
Cabinets are supplied with HEPA filtration (removes particles greater than 0.3 microns with an efficiency of 99.997%) and a pre-filter (removes particles greater than 5 microns).
Included are: lockable front doors, service port with cover in each side panel, black PVC base tray.

Legislation:
Legislation relating to Asbestos Inspection Cabinets is within HSE publication HSG248 (‘Asbestos: The analysts guide for sampling, analysis and clearance procedures’) which States that an asbestos inspection cabinet must conform to BS7258. This in turn stipulates that at the working face of a cabinet there should be a minimum of 0.5m/s flow-rate and the Cabinet should alarm if the face velocity falls below this value.
