Morris Water-maze Behavioral Science is a classical experiment to develop pharmacodynamics and memory research. This software uses Color Image Processing Algorithm and follows the tracks of mice real-timely. It can also count the path and costing time of experimental mice through four quadrants/ inner, middle and outer circle, efficiency of six periods of time, direction angle, average speed, times of going through virtual platform and retention period of virtual platform recording experimental results automatically in group. Through this quantitative data, experimental personnel can analysis and then get the statistical conclusion.
Characteristic
1. Uses Image Overlay method to observe tracks of mice without distortion and lag phenomenon of video image, which is different from black-and-white video method adopted by similar internal products. It uses real color method to observe and doesn’t need to dye mice black. What we should do is to mark colors in heads.
2. Tracking frequency is regulable in every second for one to ten times. The faster computers run, the higher tracking frequency is. Customs can appoint target areas and set the countdown time. The system supports track replay. Experimental data can be recorded automatically to Excel file format according to numbers of experimental animals.
