     15-Well Tools are used for manual setup of hanging-drop protein crystallisation trials. Their excellent optical properties and SBS footprint format makes them suitable for both manual and automatic visualisation systems. The greaseless screw-in crystallisation supports are easy to open and close, facilitating crystallisation screening and optimisation, soaking experiments, seeding, and harvesting.
    15-Well Tools are available with standard, X-Seal, DropGuard, or DropGuard X-Seal Crystallisation Supports.
    The X-Seal, which is made from an advanced O-ring material, minimises evaporation and prolongs the reuse of reservoir solutions. EasyXtal DropGuard Supports enable easy setup of multiple drops per well and eliminate problems of drop spreading while using organic chemicals such as MPD or detergents. Three cavities in each support can be used to accommodate 1 μl + 1 μl drops or 2 μl + 2 μl drops. The cavities isolate drops and prevent contact among them, enabling easy recovery of crystals without disrupting neighbouring drops.

    The 96 well LCP Glass Sandwich Plate consists of a) 127.8 x 85.5 x 1 mm glass base plate with the footprint of an SBS-compliant plate, a 140 µm thick double sticky spacer with 96 punched out holes and b) a 0.2 mm thick glass coverslip. The double sticky spacer is already adhered to the base plate. A brown paper liner covers and protects the top of the double sticky spacer and base plate. The 0.2 mm thick glass coverslip fits over and seals the entire 96 well lower plate. The Gadget is a hand held vacuum bulb with a single Buna-N vacuum cup.
