Usage | For reference only: 1. Collect cells:Take 100 μ L of resuspended cells into a plastic centrifuge tube, add 100 μ L of Trypan blue staining solution (2X), gently mix well, and stain for 3 minutes (staining for 3 minutes is sufficient, staining time can be longer, but should not exceed 10 minutes)3. Count: Take a small amount of stained cells and count them using a blood cell counting board. Usually, if precise quantification is required, each cell sample should have up to a few 500 cells, counting the blue cells and the total number of cells. The formula for calculating cell survival rate is as follows: Cell survival rate=(total number of cells - number of blue cells)/total number of cells× 100% |
Description | Trypan blue staining cell viability assay kit is developed by using normal healthy cells that can reject trypan blue, while cells that lose cell membrane integrity can be stained with trypan blue. Trypan blue staining detects the integrity of the cell membrane. It is generally considered that the cell has died if the cell membrane loses integrity After trypan blue staining, the cell survival rate can be accurately quantified by counting directly under the microscope or counting after taking pictures under the microscope. Please refer to figure 1 for HeLa cells after trypan blue staining Trypan blue staining can be completed in only 3-5 minutes, and the operation is very simple This kit is sufficient to detect 100 cell samples product components: Product number | Name | 100T | 500T | A | Trypan blue staining solution (2x) | 10ml | 50ml | B | Cell resuspension | 100ml | 500ml |

General Notes | 1. This product may appear a small amount of granular precipitation after long-term storage. It can be fully dissolved in water bath at 37 ℃ for about 10 minutes. After the precipitate is completely dissolved, it can be used normally 2. Trypan blue is toxic to human body. Please be very careful during operation and pay attention to effective protection to avoid direct contact with human body or inhalation 3. For your safety and health, please wear experimental clothing and disposable gloves and mask for operation |
