Swine Trichinella Spiralis Antigen Rapid Test Kit

(Whole Blood / Serum / Plasma / Milk)

    INTENDED USE
Swine Trichinella Spiralis Antigen Rapid Test Kit (whole blood/serum/plasma/milk) is a solid phase immunochromatographic assay for the rapid, qualitative and dfferentia ldetection of antibody to animal whole blood/serum/plasma/milk. This test provide only a preliminary analytical result. A secondary analytical method must be used to obtain a confirmed result. Gas chromatography and mass spectrometry (GC/MS) are the preferred confirmatory methods.

    PRINCIPLE
Swine Trichinella Spiralis Antigen Rapid Test Kit is based on the technology of colloidal gold immunochromatography assay. After the sample is added to the sample well, the liquid sample and colloidal gold marker are moving together along with chromatographic membrane. If Swine Trichinella Spiralis exists in the sample, the antibody is combined with it and the test line appears red. There is no color reaction when the testing sample has no Swine Trichinella Spiralis Virus.

    STORAGE AND STABILITY
    1. The kit can be stored at room temperature of 2-30℃.
    2. The shelf life is 24 months. The test device is stable through the expiration date printed on the sealed pouch. The test device must remaing in the sealed pouch until use.
    3. DO NOT FREEZE. Do not use beyond the expiration date.

    SAMPLE REQUIREMENTS
    1. This test kit is only applicable to the detection of pig serum/whole blood/muscle.

    2. Serum: Extract 2-3ml of blood according to the conventional method and clots and centrifuge at 4000 rpm for 10 minutes (or let the blood stand for about 2 hours until the blood clots and naturally precipitates serum) , and then separate the serum. The serum is required to be clear, non-hemolyzed and non-contaminated.
Serum samples can be stored at 2-8°C in the short term, and at -20°C in the long term.

    3. Whole blood: fresh anticoagulated whole blood is collected and used on the same day; whole blood without anticoagulant is collected and used now and immediately.

     4. Muscle: take about 1g of pure muscle tissue without fat, grind or cut it thoroughly and put it into a dropper bottle with dilution buffer. Replace the drip head, cap the bottle, shake well,, and set aside.

    LIMITATIONS
This test kit is for reference only and does not serve as a basis for diagnosis.

Positive samples for antibodies are recommended to be examined by microscopic examination of pressed slices for confirmatory judgment.

    TEST PROCEDURE
Allow test cassete, specimen or controls to equilibrate to room temperature (15-30℃) prior to testing.

    1. Serum/whole blood sampling method: open the aluminum foil packaging bag of the test kit, take out the test kit, place it on a flat and clean table. Use the straw inside the bag to take 1 drop of serum or 2 drops of whole blood and slowly add it to the sampling hole, and then add 2 drops of buffer to the sampling hole.

    2. Muscle tissue sampling method: open the aluminum foil packaging bag of the test kit, take out the test kit, place it on a flat and clean table. Use a dropper bottle to hang vertically and slowly add 2-3 drops of the processed sample dropwise to the sampling hole of the test card;

     3. Store at room temperature for 10-15 min to determine the results, the results after 15 minutes are invalid.

NEGATIVEIf only the C band is present, it is negetive.

POSITIVEIn addition to the presence of C band, T band is developed, it is positive.

    INVALIDReference Line Fails to appear
Insufficient specimen volume or incorrect procedural techniques are the most likely reasons for an invalid result. Review the procedure and repeat the test with a new test kit. Stop using the test kit immediately if the problem is not solved and contact your local distributor.
