Peste Des Petits Ruminants Virus Antibody Rapid Test Kit

(Whole Blood / Serum / Plasma / Milk)

    PRINCIPLE

Quantitative or qualitative detection of Peste des Petits Ruminants antibodies (sheep plague antibodies) was performed using a double antigen sandwich method. During detection, the antibody in the sample binds to the colloidal gold-coated small ruminant-H protein to form an antigen-antibody complex and flows along the test paper to the other end of the NC membrane. When the complex flows to the T-zone on the membrane, another small ruminant-H protein immobilized on the membrane captures the complex and gradually agglutinates into a red visible T-line, and the unbound colloidal gold labeled flow passes through the T-zone is captured by the secondary antibody in the C-zone and forms a visible red C-line.

    QUALITATIVE ANALYSIS

    1. Test card reaction: Aspirate 70 ml of the serum sample to be tested, drop it into the sampling hole, time it with a timer, and leave it to stand horizontally for 20 min.
    2. Result: If line C appears, the experiment is valid; otherwise, the test should be repeated. The color of T-line is compared with the colorimetric card. If the color of 32 points on the colorimetric card is dark, it is judged as positive. Otherwise, it is negative. (Colorimetric cards should be obtained free of charge from the supplier).

    VACCINE ANTIBODY LEVEL ANALYSIS

After vaccination, antibody positivity, uniformity and average titer of antibodies were counted separately in groups according to animal breed, litter size and age.

    1. Antibody positivity rate=positive quantity/total quantity*100%.

    2. The uniformity and average titer of antibody are calculated according to the table below.
1). For farms with ideal immunization results, Antibody uniformity(CV%)≤20%. The average antibody titer mostly ranged from 64-256.
2). Sometimes due to immunization procedures, improper timing of immunization or the  number of samples is too small, it will also affect the antibody uniformity (>20%).
