The vector of anti-TEM8 chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) is constructed for the engineering of T cells to target human TEM8. The T cells are genetically modified through transduction with a lentiviral vector expressing scFv of anti-TEM8 antibody linked to a CD8 hinge-transmembrane domain and CD3-zeta signaling domains. And the vector product was designed for cell therapy that targets tumor vasculature, including the tumor vascular bed, for example, glioma and breast cancer.
