Interleukin-10 receptor subunit beta encoded by IL10RB belongs to the cytokine receptor family. It is an accessory chain essential for the active interleukin 10 receptor complex. Coexpression of this and IL10RA proteins has been shown to be required for IL10-induced signal transduction. IL10RB and three other interferon receptor genes, IFAR2, IFNAR1, and IFNGR2, form a class II cytokine receptor gene cluster located in a small region on chromosome 21.
Human Interleukin-10 receptor subunit beta (IL10RB) ELISA Kit employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate IL10RB in samples. An antibody specific for IL10RB has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyIL10RB present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for IL10RB is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of IL10RB bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
