Porvair Sciences Announced a New 4-row Partitioned Reservoir Plate

Partitioned Reagent Reservoir Helps Save Deck Space

Porvair Sciences Ltd. has announced a new 4-row partitioned reservoir plate that enables aspiration of up to 4 reagents into a single well space thereby saving valuable deck space on your automated liquid handling system.

The new plate is partitioned into 4 rows with thin walls to allow pipette tips with strippers to easily reach the bottom of the channelled reservoir. Each row holds 73ml thereby providing a total volume of 292 ml. The plates are designed for use with almost any automated liquid handling or pipetting system. The pyramid bottoms reduce reagent waste by providing a collection area with a dead volume of less than 0.5ml.

The new 4-row partitioned reservoirs are constructed in ultra-pure, chemically resistant virgin polypropylene to eliminate contamination of samples or reagents with extractables and leachates from the plate material. An optional polypropylene lid is available to minimise reagent evaporation and enable stacking of reservoir plates. The reservoirs are available in packs of 25.
