Whatman to distribute GenVault DNA Recovery Kits

GenVault Corporation and Whatman, part of GE healthcare announced on  May 29, 2008 that Whatman will become a non-exclusive distributor of GenVault’s GenSolve DNA recovery kits.

The GenSolve DNA recovery kit enables FTA®[1] card users to recovery high quality DNA from their archived samples with a simple, user-friendly and reliable procedure.  The DNA that is recovered is double-stranded and compatible with a multitude of downstream genetic assays such as genotyping and PCR.  GenSolve expands the utility of existing FTA® cards by uniquely delivering DNA in quantities and of a quality suitable for even the most challenging genetic analysis technologies.
