Building on the success of last year’s event, Oxford Global Conferences are proud to present the 3rd Annual Cell Culture and Bioprocessing Congress, taking place on the 17th and 18th of November 2014 in London. This Congress is an executive platform for over 170 experts working in cell line development, cell line engineering, up and downstream operations, fermentation and biologics production.

 

A huge increase in global demand for biopharmaceutical products has increased the value of the cell culture industry significantly in the past few years; it is poised to reach a worth of over $6 billion by 2018. This Congress brings together leading experts to discuss ways to support this growth and overcome industry-wide challenges, and will be supported by key industry solution providers like Merck Millipore, Eppendorf, UPM, Solentim and Hamilton. Problems to be discussed include cell line stability, cell line authentication, scale-up improvements, contamination control and increasing reliability and consistency between batches.

 

On Day One, our panel of experts will discuss the latest advances in cell line and process development. Topics will include transfection of primary and hard-to-transfect cells, novel tools for 3D cell culture, new technologies for media optimization, high throughput cell culture techniques, achieving high titre cell cultures, disposable technology and automated cell line processes.

 

Day Two of the event will include case studies covering the most important challenges in biological production. Presentations will address how to develop commercially suitable cell banks, improve manufacturing flexibility, standardize single-use technology, ensure successful technology transfer and optimise cell lines for manufacturing.
