The director of the laboratory technology sector of GAMBICA visited our website

Mr Tim Collins, director of the laboratory technology sector of GAMBICA, came to visit the Bio-Equip on the morning of July 20th, and discussed the corporation of the two sides with us.

GAMBICA is the Trade Association for Instrumentation, Control, Automation and Laboratory Technology in the UK. It has a membership of over 300 companies including the major multinationals in the sector and a significant number of smaller and medium sized companies.
The scope of the Association covers the five principal sectors of the industry:
· Industrial automation products and systems
· Process measurement and control equipment and systems
· Environmental analysis and monitoring equipment
· Laboratory technology
· Test and measurement equipment for electrical and electronics industries
 
In the laboratory technology department, there are nearly 130 enterprises,
60% of which are manufacture and export companies in the UK. Most of them are engaged in the production and sale of laboratory equipments and analytical apparatus. The ultimate customers are laboratories from medical service, environment protection, university, institute etc.

The members of the association provide products and services for the laboratory market in the fields of medicine, teaching, researching, industry, food & beverage, and public industries.

Mr. Tim Collins’s visiting was to get to know the market conditions of Chinese laboratory instruments (especially the bioscience), provide services for the enterprise members of the association, help them understand Chinese market, look for cooperation partners, and establish the strategies of entering into Chinese market for the UK companies.
During the conversation, both sides exchanged opinions concerning of the cooperation in instrumental markets of the two countries, and achieved the consistency of the further cooperation.
 
GAMBICA will take part in AnalyticaChina  in Shanghai during Sep.19 to Sep. 21, 2006.
