X-Cite XLED1

The integration of the new X-Cite XLED1 further speeds up fluorescence scanning by offering high

speed switching between four different wavelengths.

This speed boost of an extra 40% can be further increased by the use of a multi bandpass 

filter which is integrated into the Tissuefaxs workflow.

 

TissueFAXSi with Incubation System

The Incubation System for the Axio Observer is a complete in TissueFAXS, integrated system for 

incubation that covers every requirement in the cultivation and observation of living cells.

 

The performance features of all components are well coordinated. From simple heating or cooling to 

complex incubation solutions, the Carl Zeiss system combines maximum precision with complete 

system integration.

 

The correct temperature, a reduction of evaporation, a correct pH-value and physiological O2-concentrations are the parameters that are essential for creating an environment that comes as close

as possible to the conditions of a living organism.

TissueGnostics was established in 2003 after nearly a decade of basic research. The goal was to supply scientists with qualitative and observer independent results for cell and tissue analysis in tissue context and this in automated format and significantly less time.

Katja ?sterreicher, Georg Steiner and Dr. Rupert Ecker, the three co-founders of the company, with the aid of a dozen of development partners (Medical University Vienna, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center New York, Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Cancer Research, Vienna; Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, Seattle; Brighamand Women`s Hospital, Boston; etc.) succeeded in reaching this target by 2005.

Since then TissueGnostics expanded worldwide, with subsidiaries in Romania, the US and more than 15 different distributors (incl. Japan, China, Taiwan, France, Russia, Korea, Australia, Philippines, Great Britain, Italy, Kuwait, etc.). In 2008/2009 TissueGnostics completed its product portfolio with the HemoFAXS, differentiated blood smear analysis system, setting a new standard in blood analysis.
