Europa Biosite Acquires MEDISTA spol. s r.o., Expanding into the Czech Republic & Strengthening Diagnostics Capabilities

Europa Biosite is pleased to announce the acquisition of MEDISTA spol. s r.o., a specialist distributor of diagnostics and laboratory technology in the Czech Republic. The acquisition is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
 
The addition of MEDISTA marks another important milestone in Europa Biosite’s growth, marking the Group’s entry into the Czech Republic for the first time, continuing its expansion across Europe, and significantly strengthening its capabilities in diagnostics. MEDISTA brings valuable diagnostics knowledge and experience to Europa Biosite, complementing the Group’s established life science distribution businesses across Europe and North America.
MEDISTA will retain the local expertise, customer focus and relationships that have been central to its success. MEDISTA’s directors, Jan Kadlec and Alexandra Kadlecová, will continue in their respective roles. Jan Kadlec, CEO of MEDISTA, will also join the Europa Biosite Group Leadership Team, bringing his knowledge and experience of the diagnostics market to the wider Group.
