Description
The NanoAble-1000 Liposome Extruder, also known as a liposome extrusion device, thin film extruder, exosome extruder, or artificial cell membrane squeezer, is meticulously engineered to create liposomes with distinct particle sizes and structural features. It is a pilot scale equipment, and it employs mechanical extrusion to transform biomacromolecules like phospholipids into liposomes. It’s devised to convert multilayer liposome suspensions to yield single-layer liposomes, serving as a facile method for preparing monolayer liposomes.
Our users, in addition to using the extruder to make liposomes, also use it to extrude cell membranes, exosomes, and other types of samples, aiming to control particle size. There are also customers who use the extruder solely for sterilization purposes.
