The LF210 Laser Autofocus is designed for use with a wide range of reflective samples such as semi-conductor wafers and hard disc drive platens. Developed from the industry standard LF100 the LF210 incorporates numerous refinements to make it both more sensitive and more stable. A 690 nm and directed at the surface of the sample allows optimum focus to be maintained, when the stage or sample is moved, selectable spot and line modes are available depending on the sample features present. Parameters are stored for all objectives so no adjustment necessary when changing magnification. The device can control either a stepper motor focus drive or a piezo focussing stage. Extremely rapid error detection and processing allows fast focus adjustments. Easy to install, with full range of mounting flanges available to suit specific microscopes.

Other laser parameters can be adjusted via ASCII commands.
