Presatovir is a viral fusion protein inhibitor with EC50 value of 0.43 nM. It can inhibit a broad range of respiratory syncytial virus clinical isolates by blocking the virus-cell fusion process. It can also inhibit pre- to post-fusion conformational changes of the respiratory syncytial virus fusion protein.
