Teduglutide is a glucagon-like peptide-2 (GLP-2) analogue that made of 33 amino acid. Teduglutide differs from GLP-2 by an amino acid (an alanine is replaced with a glycine). Teduglutide is superior to GLP-2 on its longer acting.
