Bedaquiline fumarate is an anti-tuberculosis drug which selectively inhibits the mycobacterial energy metabolism and found to be effective against all states of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It possesses a unique mechanism of action that disrupts the activity of the mycobacterial adenosine triphosphate synthase.
