Introduction

The rapid Rabies Ag Test Kit is a rapid immunochromatographic assay for qualitative detection of Rabies virus antigen in canine, fenine`s secretions of saliva, after adding sample, The sample move along with the colloidal gold labeling Rabies antibody, is there is Rabies antigen in the sample, it combines with antibody on T line and show wine-red color; if there is no rabies antigen, then no color reaction.

Procedure

1.Use Swap Collect saliva.

2.Insert the swab into the tube with sample buffer immediately, rotate the swab strongly on tube well for at least 10 times and mix the solution evenly, making the sample been dissloved in sample buffer fully.Press the swab on tube well above the liquid level, making the liquid been pressed out fully, discard swab.

4) Take out test card from sealed bag. Put it on flat surface, use dropper to drawupper-layer bright liquid, Add 5 drops slowly, one by one, to the sample hole with “S” mark.

5) Put the test card at room temperature, Read result in 15-20min, the result will invalid after 20 minutes.

 

Results

1. Positive：Both on T Line and C line being seen wine-red color reaction.

 

2. Negative：no color reaction on Test Line (T Line),only on Control Line(C Line) being seen wine-red color reaction.

 

 

3. Void：No color reaction on C Line.
