Though the maximum absorption wavelength of AbFluor™ 660 free acid is at 660 nm, it can be excited by 633 or 635 nm laser. Compared with the Alexa Fluor660 dye, AbFluor™ 660 free acid can produce brighter fluorescence, and have better light stability, so it is the ideal dye for laser confocal and single molecular imaging.
