The balloon stone extraction catheter is used in conjunction with the soft endoscopes, passing through the duodenoscope along the guide wire into the bile duct to extract the stones.
Product Description:
The diseases in the bile duct or pancreatic duct system are clinically common in China. Those problems have been highlighted as the rhythm of daily life accelerates. The diseases were usually handled by surgical treatments in the past, resulting in large trauma, many complications and easy of relapse. Not only the body but also the mind of the patients has suffered from repeated surgical treatments because of the recurrences of stones. With the development of clinical endoscopic technology, extracting stones from the common bile duct by ERCP has been applied broadly in the clinical practice.
The balloon stone extraction catheter is a commonly-used accessory in the ERCP surgeries. In practice, the doctors will insert the guide wire into the channel of endoscope and locate the duodenal papilla through the endoscope. After access into the papilla, the X-ray imaging will lead the guide wire to the expected spot in the bile duct or pancreatic duct.
Product Features:
1. the outer diameter of the catheter head tapers from 7Fr(2.3mm) to 5Fr(1.7mm),easy of cannulation, decreasing injury to the duodenal papilla;
2. conical sheath head design, improving the cannulation performance while reducing the damage to the tissues;
3. some ballons have stepped tapers, simplifying the procedures to a large extent.
