Beside all the advantages of HR1, HR2 has breakthroughs both in its properties and functions. It can satisfy the special requirements of the microbiological laboratory. The characteristics of HR 2 are as follows
    (1) Super high-definition. The high resolution with 3.20 million pixels and real-life color can detect the minimum colony which is as tiny as 0.03mm-0.05mm.
    (2) Versatile processing algorithms provide the versatile image-processing algorithms developed by Shineso for the various ways of colony counting. It also provides the method for special processing the complicated images for special effects. 
    (3) Online image analysis. Online, it can analyze the gradation distribution of the image, the property of square differences so as to determine the optimal parameters of the image processing, especially for the use of the microbiological analysis.
    (4) Automatic sizing and analysis of inhibition zones. It can automatically or manually measure the zone diameters conveniently, accurately and quickly. The input platform for Performance Standards for Antimicroscopic Susceptibility of the NCCLS is provided to achieve automatic analysis of the susceptibility.
