Introduction

Canine parvovirus disease is a canine infectious disease with a high degree of contagious. Clinically characterized by acute hemorrhagic colitis and myocarditis.

Rapid CPV Ag Test Kit is designed to detect the antigens of canine parvovirus in canine feces. After adding sample to the device, the antigens of canine parvovirus move and bind with gold-colloid complex of monoclonal anti-canine parvovirus of the conjugate pad, forming Ab-Ag complex. This complex, then, forms Ab-Ag-Ab direct sandwich binding with the antibody of another monoclonal anti-canine parvovirus in the nitrocellulose membrane. The test results can appear on Control and Test lines where the principles of immunochromatography are applied.

Procedure

1)Use swabs collect fresh feces samples, or directly collect from the rectum. For screening parvovirus in dogs without diarrhea, Collect sample from rectal not feces.

2)Insert the swab into the buffer tube immediately. Rotate the swab repeatedly on the tube wall at least 10 times and mix the solution to dissolve the sample as much as possible in the solution. Extrude the swab on the test tube wall to allow the fluid to be squeezed out as much as possible and discard the swab.

3) If the there have stool particles larger, you can let stand for 1-2 minutes, let large particles precipitate.

4)Remove the test device from the foil pouch, and place it on a flat and dry surface.Using the disposable dropper provided,Add 5 drops of  sample into well marked “S” on the device.

5)As the test begins to work, you will see purple color move across the result window in the center of the test device. If the migration has not appeared after 1 minute,you can press areas between " sample hole" and "T line" , help liquid release.

6) Read the test results within 10 ~ 15 minutes, Invalid result after 15 minutes

Results

1. Positive：Both on T Line and C line being seen wine-red color reaction.

1. Negative：no color reaction on Test Line (T Line),only on Control Line(C Line) being seen wine-red color reaction.

1. Void：No color reaction on C Line.

 Notice

1. Aluminum foil bags damaged products can not be used. Must be used within 1 hour after open the package.

2. Extract completed samples should be tested immediately.

3. Adding too much sample will cause the false reaction, and overdosing dilution buffer can also lead to incorrect results.

4. Experiment is effective and quality control line (C line) no correlation. As long as the quality control line is clearly visible, it means the experiment is effective.

5. There is no potential bio-hazard for the antigen used in the test card, but all serum samples should be disposed of properly in accordance with the local pollutant treatment regulations.

6. Expired product can not be used.
