Presentation I: ‘Clinical Utility of Pharmacogenomic Testing’
Hosted by Elaine Lyon, Medical Director of Molecular Genetics, ARUP Laboratories
 ▪ Describe technologies used for clinical pharmacogenomics testing
 ▪ Define clinical validity and utility for pharmacogenomics
 ▪ List criteria to determine clinical utilities

Presentation II: ‘Tumor Hetetogeneity In High Grade Serous Ovarian Cancer: A Functional and Genomic Abdominal Mapping in Patients with Advanced Disease’
Presented by Christina Fotopoulou, Professor, Imperial College London
 ▪ High-grade serous ovarian cancer is characterized by high degrees of genomic instability and heterogeneity, leading to high rates of chemotherapy resistant relapse and death.
 ▪ Aim of our studies are to understand the extent of intra-tumoural heterogeneity (ITH), describe the molecular mechanisms behind peritoneal dissemination and to delineate the link between ITH at the molecular and phenotypic levels, by genomically and functionally investigating multiple tumor deposits from defined anatomical regions during primary debulking surgery for advanced disease.
 ▪ We demonstrate phenotypic heterogeneity in therapeutic response to Cisplatin and DNA PK Inhibitors corresponding to proteomic and genomic diversity.

Benefits to attending the webinar: 
 ▪ Benefit from the appropriate use of new genetic tests 
 ▪ Correctly identify a patient's clinical status (clinical validity) and the risks and benefits resulting from test use (clinical utility) 
 ▪ Gain insight from a Functional and Genomic Abdominal Mapping in Patients with Advanced Disease
 ▪ Personalising cancer treatment based on patient genome

Who should attend the live webinar?

This webinar is for Precision Medicine professionals and those interested in hearing about the current and future challenges of the precision medicine field. It is for those who are based in Europe and the US who would like to hear views from leading experts on both genomics and inherited disease.
