Success for Oxford Global’s First Peptides Congress

Oxford Global Conferences were proud to present our first Peptides Congress this April in London, co-located with our 7 th Annual Proteins & Antibodies Congress and 2 nd Annual Biosimilars & Biobetters Congress, with over 220 senior delegates attending from leading pharmaceutical and academic institutions.

Held at the Novotel London West, the Peptides Congress provided a highly relevant platform for world renowned industry leaders to discuss new developments and optimal research techniques. Discussions focused on peptide research; from developments in discovery and synthesis through to optimal engineering techniques and therapeutic applications. With attendees also able to attend presentations and panel discussions in the 7 th Annual Proteins & Antibodies Congress and 2 nd Annual Biosimilars & Biobetters Congress, delegates were able to tailor the agenda to suit their interests.

The schedule of the Peptides Congress also allowed plenty of time to network between both Solution Providers and delegates, with the Director of Discovery Research at Covagen AG commenting,

“Many thanks for the organisation of this great event! I particularly appreciated the networking opportunities – the event had the right number of participants, and the networking breaks were long enough to make new connections.”

Regarding networking opportunities, an attending Product Manager from Biorad AbD Serotec also stated,

“There were great quality delegates for us to meet, and they were interactive with our exhibition stand. The well-timed networking breaks meant there were lots of opportunities for delegates to visit our stand.”

Specific to the Peptides Congress, Ipsen’s Director of Chemistry remarked,

“The talks addressed the most recent approaches in the peptide field, and the networking drinks were a great bonus.”

As well as presentations, panel discussions, poster presentations and networking opportunities, delegates attending our Oxford Global Conferences are also provided with a workbook and given access to the presentation slides, which always proves popular with our attendees. A Principal Scientist attending with Abcam commented,

“The conference workbook was very impressive and the fact that we were provided with access to slides both beforehand and after the Congress was brilliant.”

Following the event, we analyse statistics and feedback we receive from attendees, and we are proud to announce that we achieved an ‘Above Average’ rating in all categories including:

the venue, the overall organisation of the congress, the services of the Oxford Global staff, the quality of attending delegates, and the organisation of the 1-2-1 meetings

This is great news for everyone involved in the production of the first Peptides Congress.

After the success of this year’s event, Oxford Global are pleased to announce that we will be hosting our 2 nd Annual Peptides Congress in April 2015, co-located with our 8th Annual Proteins & Antibodies Congress and 3 rd Annual Biosimilars & Biobetters Congress.
