Insurance

Neither the Organising Committee or the Ghent Convention Centre accept any liability for personal injuries sustained, or for loss or damage to property belonging to Symposium participants, either during or as a result of the Symposium. Registration fees do not include insurance. It is strongly recommended that you take an insurance policy of your choice as you register for the Symposium and book your travel. The insurance should be purchased in your country of origin

Symposium Language

The official language of HPLC 2007 is English. Simultaneous translation will not be available.

Visa

Delegates requiring a visa for entry to Belgium are advised to make their application in their home country at least three months before the intended date of travel. In case of doubt, please contact your nearest Belgian Embassy, Consulate or travel agency for more information. Those who do not fly directly to Belgium, please, note that you may need a transit visa for some countries in order to continue your travel. Countries that do not require a special visa for interconnections are the Schengen countries. Travelling on a Schengen Visa means that the visa holder can travel to any (or all) member countries using one single visa, thus avoiding the hassle and expense of obtaining individual visas for each country. This is particularly beneficial for persons who wish to visit several European countries on the same trip. For more information, please visit https://www.schengenvisainfo.com/

Meals

Lunch, morning and afternoon coffee is included in the registration fee.

Receptions

All receptions are free of charge to the participants and registered accompanying guests with the exception of the Symposium dinner.
