Global medial travel expert Prem Jagyasi, M.D., will serve as forum chairman. According to research he recently conducted, 94 percent of experts agree medical tourism maintains significant room for growth and much of the market remains untapped.

"This forum is an ideal platform to discuss terms, opportunities and challenges of the industry and how health care industry leaders can prepare from changing dynamism of global health care," said Dr. Jagyasi. "The forum will feature experienced discussion between elite professionals of this emerging industry.

Dr. Jagisa also serves as CEO of ExHealth and is the author the forthcoming Medical Tourism Guidebook Series.

The elite faculty will be comprised of many internationally renowned speakers in the Medical Travel field including Mr. Vishal Bali, CEO of Fortis Hospitals (India) and Mr. Dennis Brown, CEO of Bumrungrad Hospitals (Thailand), and topic of discussion will be:

>> Globalization of Health Care -- Forecasting Growth and Critical Financing and Operational Challenges

>> Strategies to Address Legal, Ethical, Cultural and Quality Issues for International Patients

>> Best-In-Class Facilities - Case studies on medical travel facilities that have successfully developed innovations in health care delivery

>> Emergence of Global Health Care Clusters

>> Public-Private Partnerships with Tourism Ministers and Delivery Systems to Attract New Business

>> Dr. Jagyasi’s research also concluded that most popular destinations were believed to be those in the Far East and Asia, with the U.S. coming in at number four - an unexpected finding that could mean that there are good opportunities for this country to create inbound medical tourism. Malaysia, Germany, Mexico, South Africa, Brazil and Costa Rica also made to list of top ten destinations. The quality of healthcare services at a destination is deemed to be of supreme importance.
