International Scientific Instruments, Reagent and Lab Equipment Expo 2006

Dear Sir or Madam,

2006 China (Shanghai) International Scientific Instruments, Chemical Reagent and Laboratory Equipment Expo (ISCL2006), jointly organized by Science & Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality, Education Commission of Shanghai Municipality, Shanghai Branch of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Shanghai Academy of Sciences, after two successful events, the third one will be held at Shanghai Exhibition Center on May 17 - 19, 2006.

Chinese government attaches great importance to the technology innovation and its leading role in the economic growth. As one of the most important measures to support scientific research, conditions in scientific instruments need to be improved. China has been the biggest importer of scientific instruments in the world at present and has invested 1.3 billion US dollars in this field in 2005. The greater Shanghai region is the most active economic center and the most important scientific research center in China. The large number of universities, scientific research institutes, national key laboratories, and enterprise R & D centers as well as the rapid development of key application industries, such as electronics, information, modern biotechnology, pharmaceutical industry, new materials, environmental protection, energy, and petrochemical in the region has brought promising market demands and huge business opportunities to the suppliers of the circle. ISCL2006 will arrange a trade show, an academic conference and corporate lectures in close cooperation with the government purchasing and industry key customers buying plan. It will serve the suppliers and buyers both at home and abroad as the best platform for in information exchange and business cooperation.
