WCP-2010 is inviting you to participate in this

unprecedented event on Petroleum Microbiology. The comprehensive program will offer you new information exchange platform to showcase your leading-edge products, technique and research to a top-level international audience, linking west and east for sustainable economic progress, making new friends, exploring new markets and seek targeting partners or collaborators.

Welcome Message

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

We are proud to present the " BIT' s 1st Annual World Congress of Petroleum Microbiology (WCP) 2010 ", with a theme of " Challenges and Opportunities in Metagenomics Era " , which will be held during July 28-30, 2010 in Dalian, China. It will be an Olympian conference updating the revolutionary developments in petroleum microbiology and their implications in oil & gas field exploration, production, bio-processing and environmental bioremediation and beyond.

The conference has gained petroleum industrial support and has an additional goal of enhancing international collaborations and integrating all possible intelligence resources to seek the green solutions to the global technology and engineering Challenges of Fossil Energy recovery toward great potentials and implications of petroleum microbiology. This congress will help you to network with more than 500+ professionals who participate from both academic and industrial sectors, and seek potential collaborations with distinguished scientists, engineers, industrial executives, and investors. Also, this initiative will be a joint meeting with BIT Life Sciences’ 3rd Annual Congress of Industrial Biotechnology to be held at the same time.

For the One-week meetings, BITeomics plans to:

10-15 Distinguished Petroleum Microbiologists, Experts, Executives as Plenary Lecturers Worldwide
12 Parallel Tracks including 100 Sessions on the Cutting-edge Technologies of Petroleum Microbiology
200-300 Oral Presentations by Leading Experts and Scientists in the Field of Petroleum Microbiology to Cover Robust MEOR, and other Microbial Based Bio-products for E & P and Potential Applications
200+ Technological Posters and New Product Exhibitions or Showcases and Business Development Workshops
2-3 Cultural and Social Events
Tech-Tour to experience the beauty of Dalian and Beijing

Dalian is a famous marine scientific and technological city with huge talent pool. Also it is not far from the third largest oilfield, Liaohe Oil Field, in China. A lot of MEOR, Bio-processing and Bioremediation technologies have been successfully applied to the field. Besides, with its clean air, beautiful beaches, and pleasant summer climate Dalian attracts an impressive number of tourists all year round.
