The post-genome era is coming since the sequence of the human genome has been completed. In the post-genome era, the new concepts and new methods have been developed rapidly in biological and medical fields. There are many active and cutting-edge research fields, such as genomic analysis, nanobioscience, bioinformatics, etc., which have greatly promoted the researches of post-genome field. The interdisciplinary collaborations between physicists, chemists, biologists, engineers, mathematicians, and the scientists from the other disciplines are greatly required in developing new methods and technologies. The main purpose of The International Forum on Post-Genome Technologies is to increase the high-level academic exchanges in state-of-art development of various new technologies in functional genomics, RNA regulations, proteomics, genetic diversity, and the various related applications including new therapy, personal medicine and drug-evidence discovery.

Regisration

The organizing committee welcomes applications from anyone with an active research interest in the post-genome area. However, in order to achieve maximum interaction and discussion, the number of registrants is limited to 200 .

Fee includes the conference proceedings and participation in all scientific sessions, the meeting banquet, two days lunch on refreshment breaks, city sightseeing. Hotel fee is NOT included in the registrated fee! We suggest you pay on site.

Genomics; proteomics; genetic analysis (gene mutation&SNP typing, gene sequencing, gene expression profiling, etc.); bioinformatics and computational biology; single cell analysis; microarray technology; biosensors and microfluidics; nanobiology; biomolecular functions, etc.

Deadline for paper submission: August 10th, 2009.

Guidelines for Preparing Papers Submission

1. Any paper accorded with the topics can be submitted. Please use the following format to prepare your paper.
2. Length maximum of 3000 words (including abstract,text,figures,and tables).
3. 2.5 cm margins; Font type = Times New Roman; Text Font size = 11 point.
4. Headings should be bold and 14 point and small case letters.
5. Authors 11 point font. Use first names, initials, and surnames (e.g., John R. Smith). Please underline the presenting author.
6. Please give full addresses of all authors (without titles) after the heading.
7. Please indicate the name of the corresponding author by an asterisk*.
8. The Email of the corresponding author should be included below the addresses.
9. URLs of all databases referenced should be included.
10. The number of both figures and tables should be less than 3 .
11. The number of references should be no more than 10 . The format of reference is as follows: [1] Zhang, X.; Wu, H.; Chen, Z., et al . Anal Chem 2009, 81, 273-281.

Guidelines for Preparing Poster and Oral Preparation

All accepted papers are requested to be present with a poster during the conference. Please prepare the poster by yourself with the size of 120cm (high) * 100cm (width). If you have a difficulty to prepare the poster, please prepare the poster with PowerPoint, and inform us by e-mail before August 20th and we will help you to prepare the poster. We will print the poster and bring it to the meeting place.

Some authors should prepare a 3 min oral presentation with PowerPoint if the paper is seclected by conference. We will inform you by e-mail.
