The youngest spin-off of the world’s leading event in the field, analytica, is being organized jointly by Messe München International (Munich Trade Fairs International Group) and its subsidiary IMAG (International Fair and Exhibition Service) as well as by the National Center for Scientific and Technological Information (NACESTI). The Trade Fair for Analysis, Laboratory Technology, Diagnostics and Biotechnology was able to attract important international key players such as Agilent, Eppendorf Asia Pacific Sgn Bhd., Hitachi Koki, Julabo Labortechnik GmbH, Mettler Toldedo, Netzsch Gerätebau GmbH, Sartorius AG and Shimadzu to take part as exhibitors at the event’s première. The great interest shown in the fair is testimony to the increasing significance the relevant sectors have for the Vietnamese and Asian markets.
Hanoi / Munich, December 16, 2008: analytica Vietnam, the third spin-off of the world’s leading trade fair in its field, analytica, opens its doors for the first time on March 18, 2009. In addition to the main analytica event held in Munich, further shows take place on a two-yearly basis in Shanghai, China and in Hyderabad, India. The first event in Vietnam is being organized jointly by the National Centre for Scientific and Technological Information (NACESTI) together with Messe München International (Munich Trade Fairs International Group) and its subsidiary IMAG (International Fair and Exhibition Service). analytica Vietnam offers exhibitors an excellent platform for the growing analysis industry in this region and an ideal opening to an as yet relatively untapped market. “So far in Vietnam there has been no suitable trade fair for products and innovations relevant to the fields of analysis, laboratory technology, life sciences, biotechnology, quality control and related areas. The country is, however, in a phase of strong economic growth and offers major potential for the sectors concerned. As such, analytica Vietnam is the first fair of its type to offer the growing Vietnamese analysis industry an appropriate platform,” Klaus Dittrich, Managing Director of Messe München GmbH (Munich International Trade Fairs), explained the company’s move towards establishing itself in the Vietnamese market.
Research and development play a key role in Vietnam. With its support program analytica Vietnam offers participants the opportunity of exchanging knowledge and gaining new insights at a high, international level.
